This nine volume set does not include the Atlas, but does include the Cyclopedia of Names and a huge amount of rare material.

These leather bound volumes are 9.5" wide x 12 1/8" tall, and weigh an average 8.2 pounds each (estimate of 76 pounds total).

Each volume is filled with fascinating details of all things known to man up to the year 1900.

The leather bound covers have age wear, mainly at the spine and edges. Three volumes have chip wear from age at the spine, with one spine missing. Several of the covers are loose, but still with the volumes. We found only one page that had been fully torn in the back of one volume, else all pages are fully readable. The inside pages and binding are very good overall, with only minor foxing near the front and back endpages.
